Role Purpose
The Business & Digital Systems Analyst serves as astrategic link between business stakeholders and digital technology teams. Therole is responsible for analysing business needs, optimising processes, anddesigning, implementing, and improving digital systems and platforms thatenable effective, scalable, and user‑centric business solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement- Partner with business stakeholders to understand objectives, challenges, and operational needs
- Facilitate interviews, and discovery sessions to elicit requirements
- Analyse business processes, identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities
- Document functional and non‑functional requirements using appropriate methods (e.g. user stories, BRDs, use cases, process maps)
- Translate business requirements into clear, actionable system specifications
- Manage requirement changes and assess business and system impacts
- Act as the functional and technical liaison for assigned digital platforms and enterprise systems
- Analyse, configure, and optimise digital systems to support business processes
- Collaborate with developers, architects, vendors, and infrastructure teams on solution design and delivery
- Support system integrations, data flows, APIs, and digital workflows
- Conduct system testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Ensure solutions meet business requirements, usability standards, and system quality expectations
- Monitor system performance, user experience, and data integrity
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams or vendors
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives
- Develop and maintain documentation including system designs, workflows, procedures, and user guides
- Support change management activities, including training and communications
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Solid understanding of business processes and operating models
- Hands‑on experience with digital systems, enterprise platforms, or SaaS solutions
- Ability to translate business needs into technical and functional solutions
- Understanding of system architecture, integrations, and data concepts
- Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field
- 4–8 years of experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or a hybrid role
- Experience working with cross‑functional business and technology teams
- Familiarity with ERP, CRM, workflow, or cloud‑based platforms is advantageous
- Professional certifications (CBAP, PMI‑PBA, Agile BA, ITIL, or equivalent) are a plus
- Business requirements accurately translated into effective digital solutions
- Improved business processes and system usability
- Timely delivery of high‑quality system enhancements
- Strong stakeholder satisfaction and adoption of digital solutions
