Finance Executive

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Finance Executive. This position plays a crucial role in managing the financial activities of the company and ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments and receipts.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payables, ensure prompt payment to suppliers and reconciliation of supplier accounts.
• Manage accounts receivables, ensure prompt payment received from customers and highlight overdue invoices to the Commercial Team.
• Perform variance analysis, bank and accounts reconciliation.
• Manage cashbook, fixed assets and general ledger functions.
• Prepare and coordinate period end closing activities.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting or related field
• Minimum 1 year working experience in a similar role
• Good understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Prior work experience in handling foreign currency transactions is a plus
• Familiar in payment process using GIRO, TT & cheques are value-adding
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams & OneDrive)
• Prior work experience in ERP software will be an added advantage
• Meticulous, able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Can-do attitude
