Senior Business Development Executive

Purpose of the role:
Support, alongside the Business Development Manager, the business development projects for the Singapore office and across Asia.
Main duties and responsibilities:
General BD
Contribute to the successful implementation of business development and marketing plans through:
- Anticipate and assist with the creation of bespoke marketing collateral
- Maintaining office information on internal websites and collation of monthly updates for firm-wide distribution
- Updating the client management system with events/bids information.
- Assisting with the research for Legal Directory submissions.
- Supporting the client relationship management programme and activities.
- Assisting with the implementation of office and regional business development projects.
- Broadly supporting the BD needs of the Singapore office as opportunities and projects arise
Bids
Support the generation of new revenue through:
- Managing the creation of pitch documents both for Singapore and other regional opportunities
Research
Contributing to the collation of the firm's knowledge base through:
- Coordinating and inputting to the development of client/target research
- Keeping track of market developments that may impact clients
PR/Comms
Supporting the reputational activities of the firm through:
- Sourcing content for outlaw.com and other distribution channels
- Liaising with PR agency to develop campaigns based on media strategies for three sectors.
Events
Working to deliver successful Office/Sector/Practice Group events through:
- Managing events process from conception through to delivery and post event follow-up
- Promoting attendance at appropriate external events
- Liaising with external providers including outsourced design function.
Key Skills:
- IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good time management and organisational skills with acute attention to detail
- An understanding of the market for professional services in Singapore and across other regions
- Basic project management skills.
- Strong written communication skills are vital
