Motor Claims Estimator (Automotive Workshop)

About the role

Join our dynamic team at Optima Werkz Pte. Ltd. as a Motor Claims Estimator in our automotive workshop. This full-time role is based in Ang Mo Kio, North-East Region, and is responsible for providing accurate estimates for vehicle repairs and liaising with insurance companies to ensure a seamless claims process for our customers.

• Inspect and assess damaged vehicles to provide detailed and accurate repair estimates
• Liaise with insurance providers to obtain approvals and manage the claims process
• Communicate with customers to explain repair requirements and timelines
• Maintain detailed records of all repair estimates and claims activities
• Collaborate with the workshop team to ensure efficient and high-quality repairs
• Oversee vehicle checking for body and paintwork during the repair process in a timely manner
• Assist in the day-to-day operations of the motor claims department.
• Monitor the development of every claim and policy and ensure adherence to legal requirements, industry regulations, and customer quality standards set by the company.
• QC the Vehicle before releasing it back to the customer

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Motor Claims Estimator or in a similar automotive repair role
• Strong technical knowledge of automotive repair processes and parts
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in using estimation software and computer systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Organized and detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills
