Equipment Technician

About the role

As an Equipment Technician at Singfilm Solar Pte. Ltd., you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing the company's manufacturing equipment. This is an extendable contract role based in the Jurong West Region. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the company's critical systems and machinery.

• Perform routine hands-on, maintenance and inspections on a range of solar cell manufacturing equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment, and carry out repairs as required
• Collaborate with the engineering team to implement upgrades and improvements to equipment
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed
• Training will be provided to specialize in 3 main equipment in the open lab.

• Relevant qualifications in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• Experience in maintaining and repairing a variety of electrical and electronic equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Able to communicate with Mandarin speaking foreign employees
• Singaporean and Singapore Permanent Resident
