Speech Therapist (Hospital) (ID: 695108)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for speech, language, and swallowing difficulties in both pediatric and adult populations.
• Create individualized therapy plans driven by SMART goals to improve communication and feeding/swallowing skills.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions through individual or group sessions while monitoring progress and adapting treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate families, caregivers, and teachers on effective communication strategies and oro-motor techniques.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, prepare reports, and develop discharge/continuity of care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including medical professionals and allied health staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Therapy.
• Registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore is required for practicing.
• Proven experience in conducting assessments and delivering therapeutic interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and teams.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on best practices.
