Application Developer (12 Months)

Responsibilities:

• Build modern quant pricing engines using Cloud/Microservice/API technologies
• Optimize performance of quant models & trading systems
• Investigate and resolve SIT/UAT/Prod defects
• Gather requirement from users, build features/applications/APIs
• Participate in end-to-end software development life cycle
• Collaborate closely with traders, quant modellers and bank’s IT engineering teams

Requirements:

• A good degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience in an academic research environment with research publications is preferred.
• Prior experience in building trading systems is desirable.
• Strong programming skills in object-oriented language is a must.
• Working experience in distributed computing and relational databases is a plus.
• Experience in profiling tools, source control and continuous integration is preferred.
• Knowledge in financial engineering is preferred.
• Willing to work in fast-paced front office under tight deadlines is required.
• Good communication and analytical skills are required.
• Must be dependable and self-motivated.
