Job Summary

Supports the Documentation Manager in delivering accurate documentation, quality customer service, and offshore operational support while ensuring compliance with company policies and SOPs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and coordinate with offshore to ensure prompt/accurate processing of Export Bill of Lading (BL) in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure completeness of BL manifesting to meet the respective Import country custom formalities.
  • Support offshore in delivery of optimum service per the service level agreement.
  • Prompt attendance to Livechat case, email correspondence regarding all documentation transactions.
  • Engage proactively with relevant stakeholders to ensure the rapid resolution of any discrepancies.
  • Prioritize service excellence for VIP accounts by ensuring their unique documentation specifications are met.
  • Liaise with internal and external parties to resolve freight-related concerns in a prompt manner.
  • Ensure that Bills of Lading are finalized and available for release at the export counter immediately following vessel departure.
  • Submit Manifest Reconciliation Statement (MRS) to the Custom authority within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma or Degree qualification, preferably in Maritime / Shipping / Logistics related field of study.
  • Preferably with 1-2 years of shipping-related industry experience.
  • Good attitude with a strong commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Possess strong interpersonal communication skills and customer service abilities.
  • Function effectively as a collaborative team member, capable of performing under pressure to meet stringent deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Office skills as well as Google Suite applications.
