Supply Chain Associate (West, No exp, oil & gas industry, Perm!)

Salary: Up to $3,500/month

Job Description:

  • Supply Chain Operations & Procurement
  • Support daily procurement activities by preparing purchase orders, tracking approvals, and liaising with suppliers to ensure accuracy and timeliness of deliveries.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to track inbound shipments, manage delivery schedules, and resolve shipment delays or discrepancies.
  • Monitor supplier performance (on-time delivery, accuracy, service quality) and escalate potential risks to the Supply Chain Supervisor or Manager
  • Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through system updates and reconciliation of physical and system stock.
  • Assist in cycle counts and stock audits, highlighting discrepancies for investigation and corrective actions.
  • Support demand-supply alignment by flagging potential shortages, overstock situations, or slow-moving items to relevant teams.
  • Logistics & Order Fulfilment
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely delivery to internal teams or customers.
  • Liaise with the warehouse team to prepare orders, handle returns, and ensure proper documentation for shipping and receiving.
  • Address basic logistics issues such as damaged shipments, customs documentation requirements, and urgent deliveries.
  • Logistics & Order Fulfilment
  • Compile supply chain data including supplier lead times, shipment status, and stock levels to support decision-making.
  • Prepare reports on key supply chain metrics such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and stock aging.
  • Assist in generating insights from data to identify efficiency opportunities and cost-saving measures.

Requirements:

  • Min Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline (bachelor’s degree advantageous)
  • Internship or project experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or inventory management is preferred but not mandatory
  • Willing to learn new systems, adapt to evolving supply chain practices, and handle urgent or unexpected situations calmly.
  • Able to interpret data and identify operational trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement.
