Job Summary

Taimei Technology is seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead sales efforts for SaaS-based clinical research solutions across Biotech, Pharma, and CRO sectors. This role drives business growth by managing complex sales cycles, expanding market presence, and building strong customer relationships in the APAC region.

Responsibilities
  • Lead full sales cycle management to identify and secure new accounts and expand opportunities within existing accounts in the biopharmaceutical, CRO, and life sciences industries
  • Develop and execute strategies to analyze regional market dynamics, maximizing current successes and creating new sales growth opportunities
  • Expand and develop overseas markets by establishing and managing sales channels and partnerships in key APAC markets
  • Manage complex solution sales cycles by coordinating internal and external resources to meet customer needs and close deals effectively
  • Lead communication and negotiation with clients and internal teams to ensure alignment and facilitate successful sales transactions
  • Coordinate cross-departmental collaboration, working closely with product development and after-sales teams to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Prepare detailed and accurate sales forecasts, territory and industry management plans, and growth strategies to support executive decision-making
  • Regularly report sales performance and market insights to the executive team, providing strategic recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Drive the lead-to-cash process and build strong, long-term customer relationships to sustain business development across the APAC region
  • Demonstrate proactive initiative and entrepreneurial mindset to adapt quickly, learn continuously, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Required competencies
  • Proven track record of 5-8 years selling software solutions into biopharmaceutical, CRO, and/or life sciences industries
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue and pipeline performance objectives
  • Strong knowledge of the drug development process and key clinical technology challenges
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in relevant scientific disciplines
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to secure internal support and resources
  • Effective judgment, adaptability, and professionalism to navigate changing business needs and work independently or collaboratively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with diverse senior-level stakeholders, including executives at prospects and existing clients
Preferred competencies
  • Experience selling clinical research software or solutions directly to clinical research teams, including clinical data management, analytics suites, decentralized clinical trial platforms, patient recruitment technology, eClinical suites, site selection services, or AI/Automation in clinical research
  • Prior success selling Data Management Products and SaaS in a B2B setting
  • Consultative sales skills prioritizing relationship-building and open dialogue to identify and address customer needs
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to tailor communication style to diverse audiences
  • Chinese language proficiency (speaking and writing) to support communication in key markets
