IT Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and technically adept IT Specialist with a minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience across fast-paced retail environment. The successful candidate will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our core infrastructure and applications, while delivering responsive support to end-users and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Oversee day-to-day infrastructure, network, and end-user support to meet SLAs
• Assist in planning, implementing, and maintaining IT infrastructure, systems, and networks to ensure seamless daily operations
• Manage and troubleshoot end-user hardware, software, and connectivity issues across departments
• Support system integrations, upgrades, and rollouts while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
• Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with internal IT policies and data security regulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors on IT projects, procurement, and service-level agreements
• Maintain documentation of IT procedures, asset inventories, and user guides
• Provide timely escalation and resolution support for critical IT issues
• Assist the IT Manager in evaluating new technologies to enhance operational efficiency

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant IT experience in a dynamic work environment
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, servers, cybersecurity, and end-user support systems
• Proven track record managing IT infrastructure (servers, networks, virtual environments) and business applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with stakeholders across all levels
• Proactive mindset with a focus on service excellence and operational efficiency
