Operations Executive (3rd Party Warehouse)

About the role

The incumbent will be joining the team as Operations Executive (Warehouse) in SH Cogent Logistics Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Cogent Holdings Pte Ltd, one of Singapore's leading logistics management service providers.

1. Responsible to set clear contact matrix and daily communication channels for internal vs external parties
2. Responsible to devise and implement control measures to ensure zero errors in receiving and releasing of cargoes
3. Responsible to ensure warehouse operations run efficiently to meet timeline, KPI and budget control
4. Ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency of the material handling equipment and safety compliance
5. Attend to customer’s enquires and requests and keep customer fully informed of the details of goods received and goods issued
6. Attend customer KPI meetings and present KPI scorecards to customers
7. Operate MHE to assist operations when necessary
8. Conduct toolbox meeting and drive internal compliance exercise
9. Investigate incidents and accidents and prepare investigation report for submission
10. Identify safety hazards in operations areas and proactively eliminate any risks
11. Ensure staff work safely in a safe workplace
12. Integrate safety into daily work activities
13. Ensure compliance with safety & warehouse SOP according to company’s safety procedures, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements
14. Adhere to all company rules and regulations including safety rules
15. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time

1. Diploma or Degree holders in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred
2. Those without Diploma or Degree but with relevant and good career track record can be considered
3. Preferably with 3 years' relevant experience in third party logistics warehouse
4. Competent in using Warehouse Management System
5. Able to work under stress in a fast-paced environment
6. Able to lead a team of Warehouse Assistants
