PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (MNC - MANUFACTURING) @ TUAS SOUTH - TRANSPORT PROVIDED

• Supervising and directing the production team to achieve target outputs and maintain high quality standards
• Monitoring and optimising production processes to improve efficiency and productivity
• Identifying and resolving any issues or bottlenecks on the production line in a timely manner
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
• Providing training and support to production team members to enhance their skills and performance
• Collaborating with other departments, such as quality control and logistics, to ensure smooth operations
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety policies and site safety through hazard identification and prevention.

• Diploma / Degree holder
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to efficiently address production challenges
• Proficient in interpreting and implementing production plans, schedules and standard operating procedures
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment and quality control measures
• Familiarity with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR (MNC - CHEMICAL MANUFACTURING) @ JURONG ISLAND - TRANSPORT PROVIDED

• The Production Day Supervisor reports to the Production Manager.
• Responsible for monitoring the production process of the Chemical / Resin Manufacturing site and makes any necessary process changes to maintain the production operation safely and stably.
• Conduct raw materials, utilities and production month end posting for GSAP.
• Supports process transition and shutdown work planning with maintenance team.
• Work with Production Day team on Transition and shutdown maintenance planning.
• Updating and maintaining all standard operating procedures (SOP), training manual for the production department
• Support the orientation, training and supervision and evaluation of newly employed and existing production personnel according to the Total Company Training Plan and production demands.
• Manage the training of production technicians to achieve the standards required of HSEQ policy and its compliance system i.e. ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and SS 651.
• Support production shift team on grade change transition activities
• Source and make recommendation to Purchasing for materials used for Production, Logistic and Warehouse Operation
• Participate in continual and process improvement.

• Diploma / Degree holder in Chemical / Others Engineering Disciplines.
• Min 5-7 years of polymer or petrochemical plant experience.
• Ability to lead people in a supervision or lead role.
• Proficient in SAP
• Exceptional knowledge and application of all safety rules and safety processes required in a chemical plant.
• Experience in the operation of chemical plant equipment (such as distillation columns, heat exchangers, pumps, instrumentation systems, extruders, and continuous stirred tank reactors)
