Patient / Senior Patient Service Associate Executive, Patient Liaison Service

The Job:
The Senior Patient Service Associate Executive / Patient Service Associate Executive in the Dept of Patient Liaison Service will assist to provide support to the Department in providing a seamless, yet high level of service to patients seeking medical assistance and treatment in Singapore General Hospital (SGH).
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide seamless care coordination to patients and offer prompt response in handling enquiries through Patient Liaision Service (PLS) and GP Network emails, fax or hotlines
- Provide prompt appointment confirmation to patients via SMS and email
- Liaise with patients and next-of-kin (NOKs) to facilitate smooth referral of patients to SGH and other SingHealth institutions for medical treatment
- Update current contacts and information of various service providers and partners (SGH DDR, Nuclear Med, Lab, SOCs, other SingHealth Institutions, GPs, Insurance & other services)
- Manage administrative duties, booking of meeting venues and logistic support for department’s event
- Track statistics & indicators, prepare and submit daily and monthly departmental reports
- Manage and maximise resource utilisation, eg: control office supplies
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
- Recognised Diploma with at least 3 years’ experience in the healthcare / hospitality or related industry
- GCE “N/O/A” Level with at least 5 years’ experience in the healthcare / hospitality industry
- Strong interpersonal skills with initiative, pleasant disposition and ability to work independently
- Able to work well and interact with people at all levels
- Individuals with a foreign language skillset (conversation and writing) preferred (to converse with foreign patients and NOKs)
- Individuals with more than 6 years of relevant work experience & foreign language skills may also be considered
