Responsibilities

Develop engineering designs based on project requirements, from conceptual to schematic and detailed designs;
Carry out structural design analysis and calculations;
Participate in the tendering processes and monitors the work of contractors and subcontractors;
Maintain overall records of incoming and outgoing documents, drawing registers, RFI and shop drawings to ISO standard compliance;
Assist Project Director/Manager to resolve/review design, specifications, calculations, and other submittals, ensure the designs and models developed are in accordance to project requirements and attend to site queries/ issues;
Review and approve contractor’s shop drawings and material submissions.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or equivalent;
8 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity.
Positive attitude & meticulous, has an eye for detail;
Good communication & inter-personal skills, team-player;
Fast learner & ability to multi-task & work independently;
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Words, Powerpoint.
