Social Media & Content Marketing Executive

About the Role

We are seeking a creative, proactive, and hands-on Social Media & Content Marketing Executive to build and grow our company's digital presence across multiple social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, creating, publishing, and managing engaging content that generates brand awareness, enquiries, and leads for our waterproofing and building maintenance services.

This role requires someone who is comfortable both behind the camera and in the field, creating authentic content from actual project sites and transforming it into compelling social media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management
  • Manage and grow all company social media accounts, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
  • Develop and execute a monthly social media content calendar aligned with business goals.
  • Schedule and publish content using social media management tools.
  • Monitor platform performance and provide monthly analytics and recommendations.
Content Creation & Video Production
  • Plan, conceptualise, and create engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Visit project sites to capture photos and videos of waterproofing works, repairs, inspections, and completed projects.
  • Film, edit, and produce short-form and long-form video content, including:Before-and-after transformationsProject showcasesEducational waterproofing tipsCustomer testimonialsBehind-the-scenes contentStaff and company profile videos
  • Design social media graphics, visuals, and promotional materials.
Community Management & Lead Handling
  • Monitor and respond promptly to comments, messages, enquiries, and customer feedback across all social media channels.
  • Qualify and route leads to the sales or operations team.
  • Maintain professional and positive engagement with online audiences.
  • Track enquiries generated from social media campaigns.
Digital Marketing & Campaign Management
  • Assist in planning and executing paid social media advertising campaigns.
  • Optimise content and campaigns to improve reach, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and competitor activities.
  • Recommend new content ideas and marketing initiatives to improve brand visibility.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing.
  • Proven experience managing multiple social media platforms.
  • Experience using Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite, or similar social media management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or equivalent.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other graphic design tools.
  • Ability to shoot high-quality content using smartphones and/or cameras.
  • Basic photography, videography, and content storytelling skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience running Meta Ads and social media advertising campaigns.
  • Experience in construction, renovation, engineering, property maintenance, or related industries is an advantage.
  • Understanding of SEO and content marketing principles is a plus.
  • Possession of a valid driving licence is an advantage for site visits.
