Security Consulting Practitioner

About the role

GECO Asia Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Security Consulting Practitioner to join our team in Raffles Place, Singapore. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic security services and solutions to our diverse client base.

• Conducting risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and threats
• Designing and implementing comprehensive security strategies and frameworks
• Providing expert guidance on the selection, deployment, and management of security technologies and controls
• Collaborating with clients to ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations
• Delivering security awareness training and workshops to enhance the security posture of client organizations
• Staying up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex security incidents and incidents

• 4+ years of practical experience in information security, with a strong focus on security consulting
• Proven expertise in conducting risk assessments, threat modelling, and vulnerability analysis
• In-depth knowledge of security frameworks, best practices, and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, COBIT)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think strategically
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with security technologies and tools (e.g., SIEM, IPS, firewalls, VPNs)
• Certification in relevant security disciplines (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GIAC) is preferred
