About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our talented team at AJ+J ARCHITECTURE PTE LTD. As a Senior Architect, you will play a crucial role in shaping the design and architectural vision of our prestigious projects, leveraging your exceptional technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills.
What you'll be doing- Overseeing the design and development of complex architectural projects, ensuring adherence to client requirements, budgets, and timelines
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and project managers, to deliver innovative and sustainable architectural solutions
- Adhering to design specifications, building codes and regulations to ensure design compliant
- Conducting site visits, managing client relationships, and presenting design proposals to stakeholders
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, regulations, and best practices in architecture
- Contributing to the firm's business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and participating in pitch presentations
- Degree in Architecture or equivalent
- A Registered Architect with the Board of Architects Singapore (BOA), holding a valid practicing certificate
- Minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience in the architecture industry, preferably in a senior or lead role
- Strong understanding of design principles and construction practices
- Familiar with regulatory requirements like URA, BCA, SCDF, PUB, NEA, LTA, NParks, and relevant building codes
- Exceptional technical skills, including proficiency in CAD software, 3D modelling, and other industry-standard design tools
- Proven project management experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional teams effectively
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality, innovative designs
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information to diverse stakeholders
