Operations Manager - Logistics

Our Client:

• UP $8900 Basic + Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic site leadership by overseeing daily warehouse operations, optimizing facility layouts, and driving the adoption of automation technologies to enhance efficiency.
• Manage operational costs and expenditure through rigorous review of overtime, third-party services, and sourcing of cost-effective solutions to achieve budget targets.
• Act as the primary customer liaison, supporting contract renewals, business growth opportunities, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Lead continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives, leveraging Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve productivity, quality, and service performance.
• Own program financial performance, including P&L accountability, budget management, resource planning, and operational cost control.
• Oversee procurement and compliance governance, approving operational expenditures within delegated authority and ensuring adherence to all regulatory, workplace safety, and statutory requirements.
• Drive workforce planning and performance management, conducting performance reviews, forecasting capacity requirements, and optimizing manpower allocation to meet long-term business demands.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Business / Logistics & Supply Chain or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in contract logistics operations
• Has a proven track record in P&L management, lean implementations, and leading large teams
• Singaporeans only
