Responsibilities

Oversee technical operations for bulker, container, chemical tanker, and reefer vessels, ensuring compliance with safety and company standards.
Manage procurement activities, including supplier negotiation, contract management, and purchase order processing.
Monitor vessel part supplies, ensure timely delivery, and maintain accurate inventory and documentation in the system.
Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement processes and supplier relationships.
Attend to vessel inspections, shipyard visits, sea trials, and docking operations as required.
Collaborate with vessel masters, finance teams, and affiliate companies to resolve technical, procurement, and operational matters.

Requirements

At least 5-6 years of relevant experience in the maritime industry as a Superintendent, Chief Engineer (C/E), or Second Engineer (2/E).
