Manager, Principal Partnerships & Product Sourcing

Summary

This role will be responsible for systematically identifying, evaluating and securing new agency lines sourcing new medical devices, consumables and healthcare products, developing relationships with manufacturers and distributors and driving new business opportunities across the Singapore market.

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our product portfolio, establishing and managing principal partnerships and supporting the company's regional growth strategy.

• Develop and maintain a structured pipeline of potential principals (manufacturers and solution providers) in close collaboration with the regional Principal search team as well as the Country sales teams. Proactively identify gaps in the current product portfolio and target agencies that complement existing strengths or unlock new growth segments.
• Evaluate and onboard new suppliers identified by the regional Principal search team and at country level.
• Conduct commercial negotiations and manage relationships with new and existing Principals.
• Ensure products meet cost, quality, regulatory, and delivery requirements.
• Principal Account management at the Country level including tracking of performance against targets
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new market segments and strategic partnerships.
• Establish and manage key account relationships with distributors, manufacturers, and strategic partners.
• Drive new business opportunities and support the expansion of the countries customer footprint.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with local and regional teams, suppliers, distributors, and external partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Product Development to support business objectives.
• Prepare and present business proposals, market assessments, and strategic recommendations to senior management.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Supply Chain or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in medical devices, healthcare products, procurement, sourcing, business development or product management.
• Experience in medical consumables and healthcare products is highly preferred.
• Proven track record in supplier sourcing, vendor management and international business development.
• Strong understanding of product development, regulatory requirements and quality management processes.
