?⚕️ Role Overview
The Speech Therapist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication challenges in young children. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support each child’s developmental journey.
- Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments for speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions
- Support children with:
- Speech clarity and pronunciation
- Language development (understanding & expression)
- Voice-related issues
- Swallowing difficulties
- Monitor and track progress, adjusting interventions when needed
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide guidance and support to families
- Degree or certification in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field
- Registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
- Experience in conducting assessments and developing intervention plans
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and child-focused
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Passion for working with children
