about the job / manager
We are currently looking to hire an Account Sales Manager, to join the dynamic sales team! This role reports into the Sales Director, the account manager will be responsible for achieving revenue targets and developing new channels for the business.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setting and delivering revenue objectives, ensuring alignment with overall business targets for each account.
- Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to craft and execute account-specific strategies that drive sustainable growth and market presence.
- Lead the identification and onboarding of new retail doors and channels, implementing comprehensive sales strategies through structured business and marketing planning cycles.
- Take ownership of end-to-end account management, including strategic business reviews, product launch coordination, retail campaign execution, and delivery oversight.
- Maintain relationships with key accounts
- Provide leadership and mentorship to account sales executives, equipping them with tools, guidance, and relationship-building techniques to drive performance and exceed KPIs.
- Act as a key liaison across internal and external stakeholders, leveraging influence and clear communication to resolve business challenges, implement solutions, and optimize sales operations.
- Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management.
- You should have 4 years of account management experience from the sporting goods industry.
- Able to work independently and function in a dynamic working environment.
