Toa Payoh - Lead Process Engineer (Box Build/Assembly)

A leading multinational in the high-tech manufacturing sector is seeking a Senior/Lead Process Engineer to join its Singapore-based operations. This is a hands-on role that plays a key part in supporting the manufacturing of advanced optoelectronic systems and precision components, with an opportunity to be the next successor to manage the process engineering department.

• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes for sub-assemblies, final assemblies, and precision cleaning in a high-tech production environment.
• Set up and manage process flows, layouts, BOMs, routings, and documentation to ensure efficient operations.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, cycle time, and cost control.
• Support new product introductions by defining process requirements, estimating production costs, and identifying tooling needs.
• Utilize ERP systems (experience with Oracle preferred) to coordinate manufacturing operations and maintain records.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related).
• 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in high-precision or regulated industries.
• Knowledge of lean methodologies and hands-on process optimization experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and drive cross-functional collaboration.
