Job Description

AI Singapore (AISG) is a national AI programme launched by the National Research Foundation (NRF) to anchor deep national capabilities in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The programme office is hosted by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and brings together all Singapore-based research institutions and the vibrant ecosystem of AI start-ups and companies developing AI products to perform use-inspired research, grow the knowledge, create the tools, and develop the talent to power Singapore’s AI efforts.

AI Singapore is sourcing for an individual to join the AI Talent Development team to collaborate with technology partners, education researchers, and academic institutions. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge the worlds of learning science and AI engineering, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and building programs and partnerships.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Craft programs that will advance learning sciences, and position Singapore as a hub for educational research, pedagogical innovation, and transformative teaching practices.
  • Identify and cultivate partnerships with technology and research partners to catalyse pilots, proof-of-concepts and studies that showcase and validate real world applications.
  • Facilitate roundtables, workshops, and co-innovation forums with technology and research partners to shape the national conversation on responsible, human-centered AI in learning, and translate them into funding proposals and publications.
Qualifications
  • Master’s or Doctorate degree holders in Education, Learning Sciences, Instructional Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Artificial Intelligence (AI), or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, with proven track record in establishing and managing public-private research and development partnerships.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies (especially generative and agentic AI), and their implications for pedagogy and instructional design.
  • Demonstrated ability to publish research, thought leadership, or position papers in the education or AI fields.
