TheAssistant Business Unit Operations Managerwill play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, ensuring financial discipline, and supporting business growth through effective process improvements. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and an ability to work cross-functionally to enhance overall business unit performance.The role contributes significantly to cost reduction, revenue forecasting, and operational compliance.
Be Part of Our Success- Process Improvement & Efficiency
- Act as the BU Continuous Improvement (CI) Champion.
- Identify inefficiencies within existing processes and implement optimizations to improve productivity and reduce costs.
- Lead and manage continuous improvement (CI) initiatives and projects.
- Ensure BU CI targets are achieved consistently.
- Budgeting & Financial Management
- Develop accurate forecasts for business unit revenues in alignment with strategic goals.
- Track and report key financial indicators including revenue, EBIT, Unbilled D-Report, AR aging, warranty provisions, and cost provisions.
- Ensure timely analysis and reporting of BU financial performance to aid decision-making.
- Operations & General Administration
- Oversee daily workflows and administrative functions of the business unit.
- Resolve operational challenges promptly to avoid disruptions.
- Monitor and report on operational performance metrics.
- Manage and support BU administrators ensuring smooth internal operations.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies including risk management, safety, and security standards.
- Knowledge in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance and Operations Management or equivalent
- Minimum of 57 years of experience in operations management, financial planning, or continuous improvement roles.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive change and influence cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Proficient in financial reporting and forecasting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
