Regional Business Development Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to lead the promotion and recruitment efforts of our partner institutions’ undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across Greater China. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong track record in student recruitment, business development, and a passion for guiding students towards the right educational path.
About the Role
The Business Development Manager will play a key role in growing our network of external recruitment partners, driving student enrolments, and supporting channel development activities across the region. This position requires a sales-driven mindset, strong service orientation, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with partners, students, and parents.
You will report directly to the Managing Partner (Chief Commercial Officer) and work closely with the Marketing, Admissions, and Regional Business teams to achieve strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development
- Develop and manage relationships with external channel partners to drive student recruitment
- Represent partner institutions at education fairs, info sessions, and other outreach events
- Provide student and partner consultations to assess programme suitability and support enrolment
- Maintain accurate records and reporting via CRM tools
- Marketing Collaboration
- Work with Marketing Lead to create B2B and B2C marketing strategies for lead generation and conversion
- Offer feedback from the field to refine campaign messaging and partner engagement strategies
- Admissions Coordination
- Liaise with the admissions team to ensure timely application processing and a smooth enrolment experience
- Support high-quality service standards for all channel partners and prospective students

Candidate Profile- Skills & Attributes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Confidence in engaging across seniority levels and multicultural environments
- Strong understanding of buyer behaviour and lead conversion processes
- Familiarity with CRM or OA platforms (e.g., Monday.com, Lark)
- Strong digital literacy across Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based platforms
- Analytical thinker with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Agility to adapt to changing priorities and a strong growth mindset
- B2B development experience with business communities, chambers of commerce, and industry groups
- Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a higher education or student recruitment setting
- Experience working in or with the Greater China market preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is advantageous
Working Environment
This role operates in a fast-paced, multicultural environment requiring independence, initiative, and cross-border collaboration. Occasional business travel within the region will be required.
