Senior Systems Engineer - Toa Payoh

Location: Dhoby Ghaut

My client is a professional services firm, they are looking to hire a Senior Systems Engineer to oversee the deployment, administration, and upkeep of Microsoft-based IT environments across a range of client organisations. This is a client-facing role that requires a hands-on engineer with strong communication and multitasking abilities.

This position is open to Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver on-site IT support across multiple client offices each day, covering a variety of industry sectors
• Perform system administration and maintenance primarily within Windows-based environments
• Lead or support project delivery activities for infrastructure upgrades, deployments, and implementations
• Guide and support junior engineers in carrying out day-to-day technical tasks
• Provide clients with insights into system inefficiencies and suggest improvement strategies
• Conduct research into new tools and infrastructure solutions as required

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working directly with Windows systems; prior experience in server deployment is a bonus
• Holds a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or a similar field
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA) or equivalent credentials will be viewed favourably
• Experienced in troubleshooting, configuring systems, and providing email support
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams and external clients
• Strong organisational and time management skills, able to prioritise and deliver under pressure
• Analytical mindset with practical problem-solving capabilities
