Dulwich College (Singapore) is seeking a Music Programme Lead in our Senior School Music Department (equivalent to Secondary-level) to support the management and administration of the IMT programme, music events and music CCA’s, as well as to support the Director of Music to ensure the smooth running of the department.

Successful candidates will commence work in August 2026.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the instrumental programme.
  • Liaise with teachers, parents and students to ensure effective communication of schedules and other relevant information.
  • Oversee the planning and implementation of lesson schedules.
  • Lead the induction of instrumental staff to the college.
  • Lead on arrangements and logistics for visiting music performers and guests to the College, including in-house and overseas trips.
  • Oversee and co-ordinate the administration of music concerts and events.
  • Liaise with ICT to deliver effective systems
  • Liaise with compliance office to ensure SMM’s are in managed for IMT Lessons, CCAs and events
  • Liaise with communications and marketing to promote the IMT and CCA programmes.
  • Liaise with the CCA department.
  • Attend relevant meetings and produce minutes as required.
  • Communicate with suppliers and the College’s Purchasing Manager regarding the sourcing and ordering of supplies and resources.
  • Organise the storing of resources, materials and equipment, and ensure these spaces and resources are kept tidy and ordered.
  • Supports the planning, coordination, and smooth delivery of both domestic and international trips related to the department. Responsibilities include: liaising with staff and external providers, managing bookings and documentation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all logistical arrangements are completed efficiently and in line with school policies and timelines.
  • All other duties commensurate with the role.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A degree, or equivalent;
  • Experience with Music Education
  • A minimum of three years’ relevant work experience, ideally gained in an administrative capacity.
  • Experience in a customer face role.
  • Experience of using computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience of working independently with little supervision.
  • Experience of working with children in a school environment would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work with initiative, be forward thinking and independent.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent customer care skills, and the ability to relate well to children.
  • An understanding of musical education.
  • The ability to communicate effectively throughout the college.
  • Ability to work flexibility in a team.
