Product Manager

The Product Manager will lead the deployment and maintenance planning of packaged products across regions, while also driving the development of new offerings tailored to industry needs. This role includes supporting key account opportunities by proposing effective solutions that ensure uninterrupted customer operations.
By leveraging data and insights from packaged products, the Product Manager will contribute to sustainable revenue and profit growth.
This role primarily involves operational decision-making, including defining specifications, gathering requirements, planning deployments, and coordinating across regions. Strategic responsibilities such as shaping product strategy and roadmaps are also part of the role.The estimated ratio of responsibilities is approximately 60% operational and 40% strategic.
Key Responsibilities:
Package Products:
- Understand product specifications, functions, and performance across global markets.
- Collaborate with HQ and regional teams to plan and execute deployment and maintenance strategies.
- Participate in requirement gathering, specifications, deployment and maintenance of new products.
- Conduct training and prepare documentation to support promotion, sales and maintenance, ensuring effective implementation in each region.
- Continuously collaborate with relevant departments to create unique products by analyzing market trends and industry needs.
Key Accounts:
- Collaborate with HQ to understand projects and provide tailored support for each region.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintenance for centrally managed SATO Application Enabled Printing (AEP) and Windows-based applications.
- Minimum 5 years experience in the software or Auto-ID product industry with proven track record in managing international projects across multiple regions.
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related business field.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across multinational teams.
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle with hands-on experience in developing software and packaged products (including new product creation and deployment of existing products).
- Strong background in managing product lifecycles and roadmaps.
- Experience in data analysis, market research and industry needs analysis as well as defining and documenting product specification and requirements.
- Customer service experience in both pre-sales and post-sales support.
- Project management skills (PMP certification is an advantage).
