Manufacturing Technician / Packaging Technician
(A) Job Summary- Responsible and/or to assist in meeting production output in accordance with the production schedules.
- Responsible to setup, operate and clean the manufacturing / packaging machineries in compliance with cGMP requirements and standard operating procedures
- Assist to implement systems and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing processes and products quality
- Responsible to maintain cGMP and quality standards for the manufacturing / packaging equipment and process areas
- Responsible to meet the daily production output and quality in line with production scheduling and agreed supply plan
- Responsible for the set-up, batches conversion, operation, cleaning and problem rectification on machinery, process trouble shooting and supporting system in the production floors
- Operate various manufacturing / packaging equipment under controlled conditions as per standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians in preventive maintenance and calibration program according to the planned schedule and daily checks to support the manufacturing operation
- Assist in equipment trouble shooting and issue work requests for maintenance when applicable
- To update and housekeep all the records and documents related to manufacturing / packaging machineries and processes
- Train relevant staffs on correct operational and cleaning methodology of machineries in according with standard operating procedures
- To actively participate in the investigation for all major and / or minor failures of nonconformity of semi products or finished goods and carry out agreed actions to prevent their recurrence
- To implement and practice good housekeeping and 6S in respective working area
- To actively participate in departmental preventive maintenance program
- To actively participate in trouble shooting and rectification of machines break down within the respective area or area as assigned by the superior
- To establish and maintain operating, cleaning and manufacturing/packaging control SOP and associated work instructions and forms
- To support engineering department to perform Installation and Operation Qualification (IQ & OQ) of manufacturing/packaging equipment
- To support Manufacturing, Science and Technology Team in process validation, process scale up and optimisation.
- Perform any other jobs as assigned to you by your superior from time to time
- At least Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 1 years working experiences in production, machine setup and operation or maintenance field
- Self-started and committed to maintain the machines in top conditions at all times
- Ability to troubleshoot process issue and good problem-solving skills on technical problems
- Able to speak, read and write English Language
