Investment Company of the People’s Republic of China (Singapore) Pte Ltd is a fully owned subsidiary of the People’s Bank of China. The company manages a part of foreign exchange reserve within the scope authorized by the People’s Bank of China, undertakes and transacts various kinds of investment businesses.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Emerging Markets Portfolio Manager—either in fixed income bonds or foreign exchange—focused on achieving long-term, consistent returns. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Developing a robust investment framework for fixed income or FX portfolios
• Applying a methodical approach to risk management
• Demonstrating expertise in macroeconomic or quantitative bond research
• Participating in firm-level bond asset allocation discussions
• Overseeing and evaluating trade execution to ensure quality and efficiency
• Mentoring analysts to support their growth and professional development

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree from a recognized university
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in bond portfolio management or FX portfolio management, with a solid performance track record
• Applicants must have experience with government bond curves or FX; credit bond experience is not required
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to liaise effectively with Chinese-speaking associates
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness to work London hours or early New York hours (as required by the company), potentially for 1–2 years
