Finance Director - Geylang

Job Description:

Our client is a leading financial institution in Hong Kong and they have been providing innovative investment, and financial services across ASIA. Right now, they are seeking a Finance Director to lead financial strategy, planning, and risk management, ensuring strong financial health and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning:

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making.

Financial Control & Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including IFRS, GAAP, and financial industry regulations.
• Oversee financial risk management, ensuring proper internal controls.
• Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders to ensure financial compliance.

Performance & Risk Management:

• Monitor key financial metrics and conduct financial analysis to optimize business performance.
• Identify risks and opportunities to improve profitability and cost efficiency.
• Manage capital allocation, investment planning, and financial modeling.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management:

• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, investors, and external partners.
• Support M&A activities, due diligence, and financial restructuring as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA/ACCA/CFA preferred.
• At least 10+ years of financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong language skills such as English and Chinese is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, compliance, and risk management in the financial sector.
• Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in working with financial regulators and audit processes.
