Senior Business Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives, preferably in Pharma EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits and follow up on client inquiries for new projects, collaborating closely with the Project Engineer and Project Manager to prepare quotations and tender submissions, ensuring timely issuance of purchase orders.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams, and liaise with clients to clarify detailed engineering requirements.
• Prepare quotations, budget plans, and submissions for approval by the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
• Develop method statements, lifting plans, and work schedules, enabling the safety team to conduct thorough risk assessments.
• Prepare Material Take-Offs (MTOs) and raise Material Requisitions (MRs) for all project-related materials.
• Oversee equipment installation, structural assembly, piping erection, and pipe support installation in accordance with project schedules, procedures, specifications, and available construction drawings.
• Address technical queries and resolve work-related issues, including preparing field sketches as necessary.
• Review project specifications, ISO drawings, and P&IDs to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Verify the correct location, orientation, alignment, and plumbness of installations through counter-checking with ISO drawings, P&IDs, and GA drawings.
• Perform final P&ID checks on installed piping systems and prepare “As-Built” drawings.
• Conduct mechanical clearances, hydrostatic and pneumatic testing, and fulfill commissioning and pre-commissioning requirements.
• Complete line checks post-testing and resolve all punch list items prior to sign-off of test packages and final project completion.
• Ensure all client handovers are satisfactorily concluded, with no project prolongation.
• Implement prompt corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues, unsafe conditions, or health hazards on-site.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, client follow-ups, service delivery, and transaction closure.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of project management experience in Pharmaceutical EPC projects or closely related industries/functions.
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget.
• Strong leadership, team coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid understanding of industry standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance relevant to pharma projects.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Excel, or equivalent platforms.
