Assistant Director of Sales (Rooms/Catering)

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Director of Sales to join our leadership team. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with a strong background in hospitality sales specifically in rooms and catering.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Director of Sales & Marketing in developing and executing strategic sales plans to maximize hotel revenue from rooms and catering segments.
• Identify new business opportunities in both local and national markets, with a focus on corporate and event clientele.
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients, event planners to ensure repeat business and brand loyalty.
• Collaborate closely with the Catering and Events team to deliver seamless service and exceed guest expectations.
• Prepare and analyse sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to guide strategy.
• Coach, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve their individual and departmental goals.
• Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive hotel sales experience, with a strong focus on rooms and catering.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in CRM and hotel sales systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
