Customer Service Executive (Shipping / Logistics)

Job Description

GA Lines is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Customer Service Executive to manage customer enquiries and coordinate shipment operations for import, export, and local deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Handle daily customer service operations for import, export, and local shipments
Coordinate with customers, carriers, transporters, and internal teams
Process shipping documentation (e.g. Bill of Lading, Delivery Orders, invoices)
Monitor shipment status and ensure timely updates to customers
Resolve shipment issues, delays, and discrepancies efficiently
Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and company procedures
Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping / freight forwarding / logistics industry
Basic knowledge of import/export procedures and documentation
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Good communication and coordination skills
Able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Education & Qualifications

Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
Candidates with relevant working experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications

Preferred Skills (Optional but Good to Include)

Experience with TradeNet submission
Knowledge of local customs regulations
Familiar with freight management systems
