Roles and Responsibilities:
- Carrying out design engineering for foundation, steelwork and RC structures. Provide design sketches and reports required for schematic, design development and constructions phases of projects.
- Provide detailed engineering computations and analysis as required for statutory submission.
- Preparation of structural briefing, specification documents and tender documents.
- Providing construction support by reviewing technical queries, resolving site issues, and ensuring structural design intent is implemented during construction.
- Attending technical/progress meeting with clients and inspections during construction
- Undertake detailed design in Civil and Building Structures
- Develop design concepts and construction methodologies and provide leadership in sectional project execution
- To liaise with Client, Client’s Consultants, Contractor, and Authority to obtain design approval
About You:
- Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or its equivalent recognized by the Board of Engineers Singapore.
- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant design experience.
- Proficient in 3D design programmes i.e. Robot, TSD, SAP 2000, STAAD Pro, SAFE etc.
- Experience in the design and coordination in high rise/institutional/healthcare/industrial buildings
- Experience in concrete and structural steel structures design
- Familiar with local permitting and submission requirements
- Those with knowledge of Euro code design, excellent basic knowledge with hands on experience in FEM analysis and BIM integration is preferred
- A collaborative approach with the ability to mentor, guide and coach junior colleagues.
- A drive for precision, excellent analytical skills and a quality-oriented mindset.
