Our client is one of the world's largest medical technology companies that produce and sell medical equipment, medical systems and reagents. For business expansion, they are hiring one Manufacturing Engineer, Molding at the Tuas facility.

location: Tuas Avenue (Transport provided island-wide)

Responsible for driving process capability, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Injection Molding manufacturing unit. This role supports capacity growth, process optimization, and operational excellence while ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implement and sustain operational excellence and continuous improvement processes within the manufacturing unit.
• Identify critical equipment parameters and establish robust operational standards.
• Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of injection molding processes; transfer knowledge to operators and technical associates through coaching and training.
• Apply continuous improvement methodologies to analyze top process losses and develop action plans to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Manage manufacturing change control activities, including validation support, root cause analysis of OEE losses, and investigation of quality deviations or events.
• Support capacity planning, manufacturing growth initiatives, and participation in manufacturing-related projects as required.
• Maintain accurate process documentation, development records, and data analytics to support process performance and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems, safety regulations, and environmental management standards (including ISO 14001).
• Promote a safe, environmentally responsible workplace and comply with all safety programs, SOPs, and training requirements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:

Required:

• Comfortable working at Tuas, with company shuttle bus provided island-wide.
• Minimum Diploma in Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of hands‑on experience as a Manufacturing/ Process Engineer in an injection molding manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality systems, machine design, safety practices, and ergonomics.
• Proficient in data analysis and interpretation for process improvement.
• Results‑driven team player with a customer‑focused mindset.

Preferred:

• Medical manufacturing experience (minimum 2 years) is preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an advantage.
