Job Scope:

• Oversee and manage daily operations of the collections department to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Analyze collections reports (MIS) to develop strategies that reduce delinquency rates and minimize bad debts.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and enhance the overall customer experience.
• Communicate with customers regarding overdue accounts, applying a balanced approach of assertiveness and empathy.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, particularly those related to collections and hire purchase agreements.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of customer communications, payment arrangements, and follow-ups.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices and process enhancements in collections operations.
• Utilize a mix of recovery tools—including site visits and legal action—to optimize recoveries while managing associated costs.

Requirements:

• Candidates with proven collections experience in financial services industry are welcome to apply
• Experience in Auto hire-purchase collections and recoveries is an added advantage
