[URGENT] Procurement Engineer/ Buyer (Semiconductor) - Geylang

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and timely deliveries.
• Manage end-to-end procurement and purchasing activities through ERP systems, including RFQ processing, sourcing, bid evaluation, supplier selection, and purchase order issuance.
• Issue purchase orders, coordinate and track delivery schedules, and liaise with warehouse, production, project, finance, and quality teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
• Conduct cost analyses, benchmark pricing, and identify opportunities for cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure consistent control and evaluation of vendor performance in alignment with company standards.
• Monitor supplier performance and address any supply-related issues that could impact production timelines, project deadlines, or budget targets.
• Maintain and update material master data and supplier information within the ERP system to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency.
• Assist in inventory control by monitoring stock levels and supporting reorder planning based on project forecasts.
• Provide mentor or guidance to junior buyers to build team capability.
• Ad hoc duties as assigned

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain & Logistics or equivalent
• At least 3 - 5 years experience of direct procurement, preferably from semiconductor manufacturing industry
