Head of Procurement - Bukit Merah

Job Description:

The Head of Procurement will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, driving cost efficiencies, and building strong supplier partnerships across hardware, software, cloud services, and technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the global procurement strategy across software, IT services, SaaS platforms, and tech infrastructure.
• Lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and performance management across key categories.
• Establish procurement policies, workflows, and best practices in alignment with company compliance and governance standards.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, and IT teams to ensure seamless vendor onboarding and contract execution.
• Drive cost optimization, risk mitigation, and value creation across sourcing activities.
• Manage procurement data, reporting, and analytics to support forecasting and budgeting decisions.
• Build and lead a high-performing procurement team and manage stakeholder relationships across business units.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, licensing agreements, and information security standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, IT, or related field; MBA or CIPS certification is a plus.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the software or tech industry.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS, cloud services, software licensing, and IT procurement best practices.
• Proven negotiation, vendor management, and contract governance skills.
• Analytical and data-driven with proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba, NetSuite).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
