Assistant Engineer (Back Process Maintenance)

Reporting To: Team / Section Leader

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Engineer to join our Back Process Maintenance team at our Tuas manufacturing plant. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and executing machine and process maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment issues, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring optimal machine performance to support production operations.

• Perform and support planned machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement activities.
• Investigate machine and quality-related issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Analyze recurring equipment problems, propose countermeasures, and drive implementation.
• Support machine model change activities and conduct machine and quality verification after model changes.
• Plan, execute, and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
• Develop maintenance procedures and manuals, and provide training to new team members.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, QA/QC requirements, and ISO process systems.
• Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, QA/QC, PPE, and Procurement teams to support operational excellence.
