About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate HR Director to join our client’s HR leadership team. This role will serve as a strategic business partner to APAC markets and corporate functions, with a strong focus on employee experience, engagement, and employer branding.

You will play a key role in shaping a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workforce across the region, while also leading initiatives to attract and retain top talent.

Strategic HR Business Partnering
  • Partner with APAC leaders and global corporate functions to design and implement HR strategies aligned with business priorities.
  • Provide counsel on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and leadership development.
Employee Experience & Engagement
  • Lead the design and execution of employee experience strategies across APAC to strengthen engagement, retention, and culture.
  • Drive regional employee engagement programs, listening strategies, and action planning in partnership with business leaders.
  • Champion Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives to foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace.
Employer Branding & Talent Attraction
  • Oversee regional employer branding initiatives to strengthen the company’s reputation as an employer of choice in APAC.
  • Partner with the Senior Manager, Talent Attraction, to implement innovative sourcing and attraction strategies.
  • Ensure a strong candidate and new hire experience aligned with company values.
Leadership & People Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing direct report (Senior Manager, Talent Attraction).
  • Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and country HR teams to deliver best-in-class HR practices.
HR Projects & Change Management
  • Drive HR transformation initiatives, ensuring change is effectively managed and adopted across the region.
  • Lead cross-functional HR projects to elevate employee experience and support organizational growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership/business partner capacity in a multinational organization.
  • Experience working in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences sector strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in employee engagement, employer branding, and talent attraction within a regional role.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor markets, and cultural nuances across APAC.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility at senior leadership levels.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
  • Collaborative, agile, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
