Job Summary

Lead finance operations, governance, and administrative functions within a non-profit organisation. This role supports financial planning, donor and grant management, compliance, and strategic initiatives, working closely with senior leadership and the Board.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by senior leadership and Board
• Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
• Manage grant accounting, donor reporting, and programme financials
• Ensure timely billing, collections, and financial data accuracy
• Support transition of financial year and strengthen financial processes

• Ensure compliance with charity governance frameworks and regulatory requirements
• Oversee audit processes and liaise with external auditors and board committees
• Support board matters, including coordination and reporting
• Manage risk, data protection, and statutory reporting requirements

• Oversee daily operations, including office management and vendor coordination
• Manage administrative and HR operational matters
• Drive process improvements and standardisation of workflows
• Coordinate with outsourced service providers (e.g. payroll, IT, finance)

• Support strategic planning and organisational development initiatives
• Manage grants, donor contributions, and funding reporting
• Work with stakeholders to support grant applications and compliance tracking
• Support transformation and organisational improvement initiatives

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Experience in non-profit / charity / VWO sector preferred
