Test Engineer (Reader Development support) - Toa Payoh
We're seeking a skilled QA Engineer to design and execute test strategies for EMV contactless products. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality and performance across the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts.
- Plan and coordinate testing efforts, including performance, benchmarking, and end-to-end testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects; perform regression testing.
- Collaborate with frontend teams to optimize product integration and transaction reliability.
- Use AI tools to enhance testing processes.
- Ensure quality assurance across various platforms (UNIX/Linux, Windows).
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer/Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Strong knowledge of EMV Contactless Specs (C-2 to C-8, Book A/B), ISO 14443, ETSI TS 102 221.
- Hands-on experience with EMV-compliant product testing.
- Proficient in C, C++, Java, and scripting; experience with test tools and protocol analyzers.
- Experience in contactless card/mobile testing and web programming.
- Familiarity with card clash scenarios in mass transit is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in cross-functional teams.
