Project Manager (Main Con / HDB Project)
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to join their team!
Join an established construction company where you'll manage complex projects including HDB developments. This role offers an excellent opportunity to apply your project management expertise while ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and successful project delivery from planning to completion.
What you'll be doing?- Strategic Planning: Prepare comprehensive master construction programs, resolve drawing discrepancies, and collaborate with technical teams and consultants to ensure smooth project execution.
- Subcontractor Management: Effectively manage subcontractors, plan site works, schedule programs, and forecast resource requirements while minimizing wastage.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, architects, and engineers, attending meetings to keep all parties informed of project progress.
- Quality & Safety Oversight: Ensure strict adherence to safety practices and maintain high quality standards throughout project execution.
- Regulatory Compliance: Prepare necessary submissions to authorities and work towards obtaining project Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) and Certificate of Statutory Completion (CS).
- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil Engineering or equivalent, providing a strong technical foundation for construction project management.
- Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, with at least one complete HDB main-contractor project, demonstrating expertise in managing complex projects.
- Specialization: Background in Civil, Construction, or Structural Engineering, with deep understanding of construction processes and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership Skills: Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities, with proven capacity to lead project teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Performance Attributes: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and project delivery within timelines and budget constraints.
