CNC Machinist (Turning and/or Milling) - Choa Chu Kang

About the role

Albatec Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist (Turning or Milling) to join their team who are specialised in manufacturing high-quality parts and components . As a CNC Machinist, you will play a vital role in the production processes and opportunity to increase your exposure to a high mix of materials and components.

1. Interpret engineering drawings, selecting appropriate tools and setups
2. Create CNC programs in Mazatrol and G-code language
3. Operate CNC Mazak machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications
4. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify process improvements and implement best practices
5. Maintain detailed production records and adhere to quality control procedures
6. Perform routine maintenance on CNC Mazak machines to ensure optimal performance
7. Maintain workshop cleanliness and adhere to workplace safety and health procedures

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist (Turning or Milling) operating Mazak machines and familiar with Mazatrol
2. Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions
3. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and optimise machining processes
4. Attention to details and commitment to deliver high-quality parts and components
5. Positive and collaborative mindset
