Assistant Project Manager

Job Description:

• Collaborate with internal teams to meet project milestones, uphold quality standards, and control costs.
• Engage with customers to understand requirements, manage concerns, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve project-related issues efficiently.
• Act as the primary customer contact, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
• Work with Sales/Marketing and Engineering to develop detailed new product quotation packages.
• Present and negotiate quotation packages with clients to align with their technical and business needs.
• Lead the development and execution of project plans, tracking progress and ensuring proper resource allocation.
• Communicate project timelines and deliverables clearly to customers, ensuring accountability.
• Provide regular project status reports to management and escalate critical internal issues as necessary.
• Deliver customer progress updates and escalate external concerns that may impact project delivery.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering or Diploma with 5 years’ experience
• At least 3 years in managing development projects from concept till trial manufacturing or NPI
• At least 3 years as design team lead (Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware/Software)
• Have proven track record in working Cross Function Team (Engineering team and Operation Team)
• PMP certification or equivalent project leading experience will be an added advantage
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, work under pressure or to deliver in short timeline notice
• Willing to perform Overtime
