Freight Forwarding Executive (Regional) / Logistics MNC - Bukit Merah

Our client is a Logistics MNC. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Freight Forwarding Executive (Regional) to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Central.

• Provide on-site support to coordinate shipment and transport activities for clients.
• Monitor daily delivery and cargo movement status; update relevant internal and external stakeholders regularly.
• Liaise with vendors and partners to schedule cargo pick-up and match with suitable transportation arrangements.
• Communicate with overseas teams to manage booking, pricing, and shipment coordination.
• Prepare and manage relevant shipping and logistics documentation, including declarations and approvals.
• Assist in processing customs-related paperwork and permit applications for import/export.
• Coordinate and consolidate tender submissions together with local and regional teams.
• Attend regular progress meetings with clients to update on shipment status and action items.
• Track and manage shipment costs, project expenses, and profitability per delivery; support monthly reporting.
• Generate quotations and invoicing in a timely manner to facilitate billing accuracy.
• Any other duties as assigned.

• Min NITEC/ Diploma/Degree in logistics / supply chain studies or equivalent
• Min 3 years’ relevant working experience in freight forwarding
• Proficient in Microsoft Office would be advantageous
• Willing to travel overseas
