Marketing Communications Specialist

We are seeking a driven and purpose‑oriented Marketing Communications Specialist to support brand growth and business development in Singapore. This role sits at the intersection of sustainability, brand storytelling, and B2B engagement.

You will play a key role in shaping how businesses and the public understand responsible hazardous waste management, turning complex environmental and regulatory topics into clear, compelling, and actionable messages. Working closely with sales, operations, and regional stakeholders, you will strengthen brand visibility while contributing to a more sustainable future.

This is an ideal role for a marketer who is both creative and analytical, comfortable with on‑the‑ground engagement, and motivated by purpose and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Communications Strategy
  • Develop and execute targeted marketing and communications strategies for the Singapore market, aligned with corporate brand guidelines and local industry priorities
  • Translate complex technical and environmental concepts into clear, relevant, and business‑focused messaging for diverse audiences
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
  • Act as the primary on‑the‑ground communications representative, engaging directly with customers, partners, regulators, and the public
  • Plan, customise, and deliver presentations for C‑suite stakeholders, operational teams, and public forums
  • Coordinate and conduct site visits, facility tours, and engagement sessions, including pre‑visit onboarding and post‑visit follow‑ups
Events & Brand Activation
  • Lead end‑to‑end planning and execution of trade shows, industry events, networking sessions, and internal engagement activities
  • Manage logistics, vendors, stakeholders, and on‑site support to ensure professional, brand‑aligned experiences
Content & Digital Marketing
  • Create, manage, and optimise content across digital platforms (website, social media, EDMs)
  • Produce marketing and corporate communications materials, including:
  • Website copy and landing pages
  • Newsletters and EDMs
  • Case studies and customer success stories
  • Trade advertisements and event publications
  • Coordinate the development and distribution of promotional materials across online and offline channels
Digital Platform Management
  • Manage and monitor corporate website and social media channels
  • Respond to enquiries, comments, and feedback in a timely and professional manner
  • Apply SEO and web analytics insights to continuously improve performance
Business Development Support
  • Partner closely with the sales team on client engagement activities, prospect meetings, and networking opportunities
  • Gather and analyse customer feedback and market insights to inform marketing strategy and support sales and operations
Internal Communications
  • Develop internal communications and staff engagement content to strengthen organisational alignment, culture, and awareness of sustainability initiatives

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Background or exposure to science‑based disciplines (e.g. Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology) is an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in marketing communications, preferably in B2B, industrial, environmental, or technical sectors
Technical & Professional Skills
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and apply insights to campaigns and performance tracking
  • Hands‑on experience with:
  • Digital marketing and social media management
  • Content creation and web CMS platforms
  • SEO and web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
Communication & Personal Attributes
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Proven experience engaging diverse audiences through presentations and on‑site stakeholder interactions
  • Experience working with Public Relations agencies or in public relations is an advantage
  • Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and creative, with strong project management capability
  • Self‑motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
